Dr. Yuwa Hedrick-Wong is a business strategic and economist with 20 years of experience gained in over 30 countries. He has served as strategy advisor to over 30 leading multinational corporations in the Asia/Pacific region.
As the economic advisor to MasterCard Worldwide in Asia/pacific since 1999, Yuwa has been responsible for monitoring and forecasting economic growth and emerging business development trends in the region. In this capacity, he ahs devised market entry strategies, addressed public policy challenges, analyzed business impacts of social, demographic and lifestyles changes, and assessed market-specific business development potential and constraints.
Yuwa is a frequent commentator on TV and in the media, and a published author on economic development, trade, consumer markets and international relations. He is a regular columnist in Forces and a visiting professor at the School of Management of Fudan University in Shanghai, China and also a chief strategist at Davos Management Institute.
