John Steinbreder is a senior writer for Golfweeb magazine and the author of six books.A former reporter for Fortune magazine and writer/reporter for Sports Illustrated,he has been honored by the Golf Writers Association of America for his work and has had his writing published in a number of top periodicals,including The New York Times Magazine,Forbes FYL Time,The Wall Street Journal,and Sky.He also served for a time as a special contributor to ESPN Television and is now a contributing editor to Met Golfer,Sporting Classics,and Chief Executive magazines.An avid golfer who carries a 5 handicap(most of the time),Steinbreder lives in aston,Connecticut,with his 9-year-old daughter,Exa.
